Thomas Klamke (born in 1962) studied at the TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY OF DRESDEN, where he earned an engineering degree (Dipl.-Ing.) in materials handling technology.
He began his professional career as a designer and project engineer at a large industrial enterprise in former East Germany. In 1992 he founded his own company as an engineering office and commercial enterprise.
